With so many styles of offense out there today, I am curious which defense is best suited do defend a majority of them. In a district where our team would see a variety of different offensive schmes from the multiple I, the wing-T, the Tony Franklin Spread what scheme would be the best to put a team into. Obviously the need to be flexible is present with so many different looks each week, but is there a defense better suited to defend variety?

I think its more important to KNOW the system you're running, and be able to make adjustments. Lets face it, the defense is either Odd or Even. The rest is just giving cute names to all the personnel.
