How much plyometrics are you doing in your off-season workouts? As opposed to distance running, straight ahead sprints, and agilities.
Do you use different plyos for different age players? In other words, is your new 8th grader doing what your rising senior is doing?
What are you looking to gain from the plyos?

Just a question to shoot out for the board... How much distance running are you doing in offseason workouts? I'm more of a sport-specific training principle guy and I don't see the need to run lots of long distances for football players. I also think that we do too much straight-ahead sprinting in football and that 95% of their running during a game is not straight-ahead. Let me hear your thoughts...

In my day, we ran sprints every day. Sprints are what make kids tough, they should sprint til they puke. That's why they're so soft now.
Yeah, you never get to sprint straight ahead in football.
