I plan to start playing around with the structure of our outdoors part of workouts (indoor being the weight room). What I am planning on doing now that we have gone three days a week is to spend one day on good old fashion hardwork, conditioning style drills (mental and physical that is). The other two I was thinking of trying to focus on football-specific drills and skill development while incorporating basic run and movement fundys. FOR EXAMPLE, today we worked on COD (change of direction) by running routes, everyone did it (OL, WR, etc...) I was planning on spending Thursday doing something simliar with another position work. Now obviously here in VA we have to walk a fine line with off-season workouts, but I am experiementing. Does anyone do this type of stuff or do more still do the sprints, ropes, etc...
