What is your favorite drop-back pass protection? I know it has a lot to do if you are using 5-6-7 man protections and how your QB is working through his read progressions but I am researching right now. I like the big-on-big/man protection for 6 and 7 man protections, with the use of kick-slides, etc.... I know a lot of high school coaches will question its ability to be used, but I think if you teach the skills, it is definitely feasible. AND if all else fails you can always just cut the knees down... What I would really like to discuss, is how you are determine who is blocking who. I have counted in the past, where the Guards have the first DL outside the center, tackles, have 2nd, etc...What do others like? Or Recommend?!?!
