Were there very many 'drills' that we as high school coaches can use from the NFL combine? I watched a little bit of the coverage at a friend's house (I don't get NFL Network, I have Comcast) and saw two drills I will use but wasn't so sure about the majority of them. Even some of the commentators were like, "I'm not sure what this drill's meant to do, because you'll never do it during the regular season." BUT a lot of our players have NFL Network and THEY have asked me about certain drills, so I was wondering if with certain kids there'd be instant legitimacy since "Hey, they did this at the Combine coach!" I like to find ways to set the kids up to our job. (i.e. selling a drill or weight-room activity to the other kids)

I didn't see anything that was revolutionary, but I didn't watch a huge amount of the combine. That is a good selling point though, "This guy bumped up 2 rounds in the draft because he ran a 4.1 in xxx drill... so get good at it!"
