What do you think about this new football league, the UFL? Sounds like they are getting some names in there as far as coaching tinyurl.com/at6o76, don't know much about the players. Playing it in the fall, and keeping the season short might be the right idea - but do you really believe anyone can compete with the NFL and NCAA? I don't know if they have a TV Contract, but on Thursday Night when I have to choose between UFL or BCS teams playing... I know my choice.

I don't see how you can have games in the fall and compete against the nfl. Its saturating the market.

I can understand not running it in the spring though. As exciting of an idea as it is, most of us get wrapped up in all of the things we're used to doing in spring, rather than planning our weekend (or week night) around a football game. Besides competing with baseball, NBA Playoffs, NASCAR, etc. they also have to compete with fishing trips and honey-do's and everything else. So if you just HAVE to compete with the NFL, is there a better time?
