What would you do with Michael Vick? Where would you put him on the field at this point, and if you could make the decision - what team would you put him on?
The popularity of the Wildcat formation makes Vick a more valuable commodity than he would have otherwise been. But I think he's still a heck of a back-up Quarterback, particularly on a team with a marginal starter, or an aging starter. Give him a few weeks in a back-up role to learn the system.
I like Jason Campbell, but it doesn't seem like the Redskins are that excited about him - so it makes Vick a perfect fit there. If Campbell falters, replace him in the middle of the season with an exciting player to get the fans going. In the mean time, you can make a decision on Colt Brennan or get ready to find someone else.
He's not a long term fix for anyone, though!

Well Vick has to go to a team that can showcase his strengths and hide his weaknesses. First of all, he is not a west coast quarterback. So any team running the west coast is crossed off the list. SO what are his strengths, well we all know he can run. So he needs to find a team with a strong running game that can take advantage of his bootleg potential. He can throw the ball down the field well and he needs a team who have a committment to throwing the ball down the field. Lastly he needs an offensive coordinator who doesn't have a huge ego. Some oc's only want to run their offense, instead of adapting the offense to the player. Here are some teams where he would do well.
As a backup: As a potentail starter: Titans Niners Ravens Browns Steelers Raiders Panthers Jaguars

So you're saying he can only start for bad teams, or the Jaguars - who are only occasionally bad

Two scenarios I am seeing. One much more far-fetched than the other. 1) Pats pick him up. Everyone says Belchik is obsessed with the wild-cat, and I have this hunch if anyone is willing to take a chance on someone, it is the Pats. The problem will be the owner. Kraft apparently cut a a player drafted a few years back, because his wife was appalled at the fact the kid was caught up in some domestic violence action in college.
2) Okay now this may be a bit far fetched, but bare with me. Panthers have an aging QB in Delhomme. I expect him to struggle this season, and I expect the Panthers to end up parting ways with John Fox. Which would open the door for a huge coach pick up who wants to be in Carolina...Cowher. Cowher who loves the wrinkles on offense and would love to have Vick worked not only into the wildcat package, but think about all those plays he ran with Hines Ward (etc...) now with Vick. Would be interesting.

Those are pretty far-fetched ideas, I don't think I've seen either one of those scenarios. Carolina just doesn't seem like it would ever be a good fit... Carolina and Washington might just be too close to Newport News for him.
